Job summary

Gaia Recruitment in Reading is recruiting a registered nurse to assess claimants, using your clinical assessment skills to understand how health conditions affect daily lives. The role is Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends back, based in Reading with hybrid working.

The position starts at £47,000, with potential increases to £50-51k as you progress, and includes generous annual leave, pension contributions, and a 6-month training program with mentors.

Qualifications

• NMC registration with no restrictions.
• 12+ months' post-registration UK experience.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Good IT and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess claimants face to face, by phone or by video.
• Review medical evidence and write clear, objective reports for DWP.
• No diagnosing, prescribing or treatment.
