Job summary

Steps Rehabilitation Limited is recruiting a registered nurse to join our multidisciplinary team within a nationally recognised rehabilitation centre. You will deliver person-centred nursing care across the client journey, promoting independence and dignity while aligning with our care values.

As part of the nursing team, you will lead and collaborate with Rehabilitation Assistants and colleagues to maintain clinical excellence, ensure safety, and support recovery for people aged 16 and over

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nurse.
• Experience in rehabilitation-focused nursing.
• IT experience including Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience with governance frameworks and data protection.

You will work closely with Rehabilitation Assistants, and the rest of the interdisciplinary team to ensure each client receives the highest standard of nursing support tailored to their unique needs.

Essential qualifications and experience

• Registered Nurse on the NMC register
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Nurse
• Experience working in any aspects of nursing with a rehabilitation element
• IT experience including Microsoft Office packages
• Experience of working within governance frameworks e.g. clinical systems / data management / complaints untoward incidents
• Demonstrable experience and working knowledge of the Data Protection Act

Desirable

• Key trainer/train the trainer qualification
• Approved mentorship or teaching qualification
• Qualification / short courses in staff management / supervision
• Rehabilitation experience in any of the following areas: neurology, orthopaedic trauma, spinal injuries, complex poly trauma
• Experience of training package development and delivery across relevant subject e.g. Data Protection / Clinical Training
• Experience of audit functions
• Creative and innovative approach, inclusive and engaging approach to client care
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal / demonstrate excellent listening skills
• Able to form key working relationships with colleagues, understand the dynamics of interdisciplinary working
• Ability to demonstrate an awareness of equality and diversity obligations when delivering care and also towards colleagues

Salary: £32,445 to £39,294 a year pro rata. Generous benefits package.
