Job summary

Bilfinger is recruiting a Work Pack Lead to drive the planning, fabrication readiness and delivery of work packs for the Hinkley Point C project. You will oversee Work Pack Engineers and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Construction to meet nuclear quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and deep experience in work face planning, document control and safety compliance within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading work pack, workface planning, construction readiness, project engineering or fabrication support functions within a highly regulated environment.
• Proven experience leading technical or project support teams.
• Strong understanding of work pack preparation, document control and workface planning principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of Work Pack Engineers and Assistant Work Pack Engineers.
• Allocate resources across project priorities to ensure work pack production aligns with construction and fabrication requirements.
• Conduct performance reviews, development planning and mentoring activities.
• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
• Establish, monitor and report work pack performance metrics including readiness, productivity, quality and schedule compliance.
