Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking an Assistant Work Pack Engineer to support the preparation, coordination and maintenance of work packs for fabrication and installation at Hinkley Point C. You will compile technical documentation, maintain project records and support workface readiness across multiple fronts.

The role provides a structured development path into a Work Pack Engineer role within a highly regulated nuclear environment, requiring attention to detail, organisation and collaboration with Stores,

Qualifications

Experience in an engineering, construction, manufacturing, project controls, document control or technical administration environment.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Good organisational and document control skills.
Ability to work accurately with large volumes of technical information.

Responsibilities

Support the preparation and compilation of fabrication and installation work packs in accordance with project procedures.
Download, print and collate FUDs, isometric drawings, parts lists and associated documentation for inclusion in work packs.
Enter and maintain data within DMS and other project management systems.
Assist in reviewing work pack documentation for completeness and compliance before issue.
Maintain work pack registers and workflow trackers to support progress reporting and status monitoring.
