Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Waste Coordinator on a contract basis for a nuclear site in Seascale/Whitehaven. You will coordinate solid waste management, ensure compliance with packaging, disposal, and transport processes, and work with operations, engineering and waste teams to optimise waste outcomes.

The role requires current Plant Solid Waste Coordinator SQEP, knowledge of nuclear waste management, and the ability to produce clear technical documents.

Qualifications

• Current Plant Solid Waste Coordinator SQEP.
• Knowledge of radioactive waste packaging, transport, and disposability assessment processes.
• Experience on nuclear waste management projects within nuclear site environment.
• Understanding of site waste management arrangements, routes, and governance requirements.
• Experience engaging with operations, engineering, waste management, and stakeholders.
• Ability to advise and influence decisions to optimise waste outcomes.
• Strong communication and technical authoring skills for waste documentation.
