Job summary

Rullion is recruiting a Waste Engineer to contract at a Seascale/Whitehaven site. You will work under the Workstream Lead to deliver waste management requirements across a programme that aims to strengthen resilience and remove single points of failure.

The role requires solid nuclear waste experience, ability to challenge approaches, and effective collaboration with operations, engineering, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience on nuclear waste management projects within a site environment.
• Experience supporting project delivery from concept to commissioning.
• Ability to propose pragmatic waste solutions while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and ability to produce technical justifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver requirements of the Programme workstream and support waste management across projects.
• Collaborate with Workstream Lead and Project Manager to support waste guidance and implementation.
• Provide informed advice to influence project decisions and optimise waste outcomes.
• Develop and review waste management documentation and technical justifications.
