Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear invites graduates to join the Radioactive Waste Management Graduate Programme, with placements in Warrington, Bristol and Newbury. The two-year programme offers rotations across projects in defence and civil nuclear sectors, developing skills in waste management, radiological safety and environmental protection.

Qualifications

• Science degree in a relevant field is required.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance eligibility may be required, per GOV.UK guidance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe, compliant, and sustainable handling of radioactive materials across the full waste lifecycle.
• Support characterisation, treatment planning, packaging, transport and disposal activities.
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams on nuclear projects and client interactions.

Science degree (Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology or Biochemistry)
