Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is seeking a hands-on trainer specialist to deliver training to marine engineers and plant operators on a static on-shore site in Helensburgh. The role combines simulator and classroom instruction with pre-set lesson plans and safety assessments.

You will be supported to progress into an instructor role, with funded qualifications, a generous pension, progression routes, and a 37-hour week in a defence contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience delivering hands-on training to technical staff.
• Ability to run safety training sessions and assessments.
• Willingness to progress into Trainer/Instructor roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training in the simulator and classroom.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess engineers/operators results.
• Develop training content and improve course development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams.
• Mon - Fri, 37 hour week, on-site.
