Job summary

Nuclearinst is seeking a Nuclear Watchkeeper in Helensburgh to deliver classroom and simulator training to Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operators and Marine Engineering Equipment Maintainers at HMNB Clyde Faslane. This role offers a unique opportunity to pass on knowledge to the next generation of engineers without requiring prior instructional experience.

The successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of Naval Nuclear Steam Raising Plant operations and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. The position comes with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Naval Nuclear Steam Raising Plant operation.
• Recent hands-on experience with up-to-date technical skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and simulator-based training to operators and maintainers.
• Collaborate with training designers on courseware updates.
• Deliver safety training to students outside the ACTS programme.
