Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a skilled Fixed Wire Testing Engineer for Sellafield, Cumbria. The role involves carrying out fixed wire testing, inspection and remedial works across estate buildings to ensure safe, compliant and operational installations.

You will work a 40-hour week with night shifts as part of a pattern; you must maintain testing equipment and documentation, and liaise with clients and subcontractors to support service delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391/2392 inspections and testing qualifications are required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification incl. latest amendments.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fixed wire testing, inspection and certification across estate buildings.
• Ensure electrical installations remain safe and compliant with regulations.
• Operate in line with Sellafield SLSPs, Mitie safety systems and procedures.
• Maintain Electrical Nominated Person status as required for service delivery.
• Complete worksheets, reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver quality workmanship and customer service to clients and stakeholders.
