Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Wales is seeking a driven Site Engineer to lead complex construction activities on a high-profile nuclear project, emphasising safety, quality and delivery in a demanding environment.

You will champion a strong safety culture, review method statements and safe systems of work, coordinate with site teams, and drive continuous improvement to ensure on-time, within-spec delivery while upholding environmental values.

Qualifications

  • CITB SMSTS or NEBOSH Construction Certificate is required.
  • HNC/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent technical background.
  • Strong CDM experience and safety leadership.
  • Experience supervising demolition, lifting, and working at height.

Location: Trawsfynydd - full time on site (4 day week)

You will:
  • Take action to champion a strong safety culture, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement through best practice and learning.
  • Review and accept method statements, safe systems of work, and all relevant documentation with diligence and ownership.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support others while adapting confidently to changing demands, promoting positive safety, environmental values, and strong planning and coordination

You will bring:
  • Essential construction safety qualifications such as CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, alongside strong Construction Design Management experience.
  • Proven essential experience managing or supervising construction activities such as (working at height operations, temporary works, heavy lifting operations etc.) and supported by an HNC/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent technical background.
  • A thorough understanding of local procedures, rules, and company instructions, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective project delivery.
  • Experience in demolition, lifting operations, working at height
