Job summary

Sizewell C Company is launching a Science & Engineering Graduate Programme in the UK. You will rotate through placements over 16 months to gain hands‑on experience and build professional skills, under mentorship and with accreditation toward chartership through institutions like IET, IoP, IChemE and more.

You will be based at the Gloucester office with several placements, learning from experts and contributing to the UK’s net-zero journey while preparing for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a Science-based field.
• Genuine interest in nuclear energy with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a time-critical environment and collaborate well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience and develop technical and professional skills.
• Report to the Nuclear Safety Manager in the Pre-Operations Technical and Safety Support Programme.
• Work with stakeholders to build and establish key workstreams: reactor physics, safety case, regulation and reporting, operations support.
• Specialise in at least one area while developing a broad understanding across the function.
