Job summary

weServed announces the Nuclear Safety Engineering and Operations Graduate Programme based at Devonport, Plymouth. The two‑year rotation starts in Sept 2027, with a base salary from £35,000 and strong development support in nuclear safety and operations.

You will rotate through placements, engage with safety case authors and operations managers, and build experience across nuclear safety and plant management in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM required or on track to graduate.
• Security clearance requirements may apply (BPSS, SC, NNPI).
• Nationality/residency restrictions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support safe operation, maintenance and development of nuclear facilities.
• Review engineering designs for compliance with nuclear safety standards.
• Develop safety cases and perform hazard analyses.
• Conduct risk assessments and modelling of scenarios.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
