Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the Sizewell C nuclear project. Based in Chipping Sodbury, you will manage material supply contracts, control costs, and work with senior stakeholders to ensure robust financial performance.

The role requires NEC contract experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proactive, safety-focused approach. Travel to project sites will be involved as needed.

• Proven Quantity Surveying experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quantity Surveying functions across allocated contracts.
• Administer NEC contracts, valuations and compensation events.
• Manage cost, revenue and cash collection throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Produce commercial reports and forecasts for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures.
• Conduct site visits for audits, meetings and training as required.
