Job summary

Bilfinger is an international industrial services provider delivering quality and safety across construction projects, including nuclear facilities. The Quality Engineer will implement, control, and assure quality processes, ensuring traceability from material receipt to handover, in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities include governance of documentation, audits, NCR/FUD/RFI management, and interface with engineering, construction, and client representatives to uphold quality

Qualifications

• Experience in QA engineering or quality management on large construction projects.
• Proven track record managing FUDs, NCRs, RFIs, and quality documentation in a regulated environment.
• Experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or similarly high-integrity industries.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, RCC-M, and nuclear QA frameworks.
• Degree/ONC/HNC or equivalent in Engineering, Quality, or related field (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and document management systems (Teamcenter, SharePoint, Proarc, SOMINS).

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality processes across construction activities on a nuclear project.
• Provide governance over documentation and ensure traceability from design through to installation and testing.
• Conduct audits, surveillance, and process reviews to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Administer QA documentation including FUDs, NCRs, RFIs, and LTQRs.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and client representatives to uphold quality expectations.
• Support interpretation of codes, standards, and specifications related to welding, NDT, fabrication, and installation.
• Promote a strong HSE culture within QA activities and ensure safe, compliant working practices.
