Job summary

Bilfinger is recruiting a Quality Engineer for a nuclear project in the United Kingdom. The role drives QA across fabrication, installation and testing, ensuring compliance with RCC-M, EN ISO 3834-2 and client specs with full traceability from receipt to handover.

You will lead FUDs, NCRs and RFIs, manage QA documentation, audits and LTQRs while coordinating with engineering, construction and client stakeholders to maintain the golden thread and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA engineering on large construction projects.
• Proven track record managing FUDs, NCRs, RFIs and quality documentation in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, RCC-M and nuclear QA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain QA processes across fabrication, installation, and testing.
• Administer FUDs, NCRs and RFIs end-to-end with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure full traceability from design through installation and testing.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and client representatives on quality expectations.
• Lead QA documentation governance and LTQR/QA register maintenance.
