Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Graduate Project Manager to join the Nuclear Team in West Lakes, Cumbria. You will work on high-profile projects, learn under experienced PMs, and develop through the Graduate Development Programme.

You will support delivery across a diverse nuclear portfolio, engage stakeholders, manage cost reporting, and help prepare project plans and tender responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management 2:1 (or equivalent).
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business and/or Project Management 2:1 (or equivalent) would be an advantage.
• Modules in Nuclear would be an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, hard‑working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
• Good Microsoft Office skills essential such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint – MS Project or Primavera an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub‑contractors.
• Ability to structure & prioritise work with team collaboration.
• Full UK driving license or equivalent that permits driving in the UK would be an advantage.
• Travel to other UK sites and some international travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supporting delivery of small projects or workstreams as part of larger projects.
• Engaging with and managing client and internal stakeholders.
• Management of cost reporting, budgeting and invoicing.
• Supporting development and management of project plans.
• Preparation and presentation of project reporting for management.
• Supporting preparation of tender responses.
