Job summary

Technical Engineering Support (TES) is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to lead cost management for the Hinkley Point C project. You will drive cost forecasting, data integrity, and reporting across high-value contracts while coordinating with Program Directors and senior stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in regulated environments, strong leadership, and the ability to translate complex financial data for executive audiences. A nuclear sector background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years senior-level Cost & Forecasting experience in a complex, highly regulated industry.
• Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder interfaces and leading project controls teams.
• Direct nuclear/major infrastructure project experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Cost Engineers and Trainee Cost Engineers.
• Oversee cost and forecast data across high-value contracts (£10m–£500m) with data integrity in EcoSys and SAP.
• Engage with Program Directors to review major issues and support decision making at executive level.
• Lead trend and risk integration with schedule, risk, and change management.
• Develop and verify cost reporting dashboards in Power BI and ensure quality reporting.
• Support governance and information security for Sensitive Nuclear Information.
