Job summary

Progressive Recruitment seeks a Project Commercial Manager to support a major nuclear energy initiative in Warrington on a 12-month contract (Inside IR35). The role focuses on NEC Professional Services Contracts and commercial lifecycle management within a hybrid model (2–3 days on site).

The role requires commercial leadership, contract law knowledge, and experience with public sector procurement to ensure objectives are met while maintaining ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing NEC PSC contracts within complex projects.
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement frameworks.
• Ability to influence decision-making through commercial and technical insights.
• Track record of leading teams and driving commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medium to high complexity NEC PSC contracts from initiation to close-out.
• Provide commercial governance, risk analysis and mitigation recommendations.
• Engage stakeholders and present commercial/technical advice to sponsors.
