Job summary

EDF in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Pipefitter Superintendent to lead safety-driven construction activities within MEH Alliance. You will oversee complex piping and cabling scopes, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage daily progress reports for stakeholders.

The role requires nuclear project experience, safety certifications, and strong coordination with subcontractors and trainees to deliver safe, on-time performance across major sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in relevant discipline.
• CCNSG Safety Passport is required.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Superintendent on engineering projects.
• Nuclear power experience preferred and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Experience working on major construction projects.
• Relevant Skills Card where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead on safety and production, promoting nuclear safety culture.
• Oversee delivery of work scopes and identify improvements.
• Maintain adherence to regulations, agreements, and procedures.
• Manage project progress, schedule, and daily reports to stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external parties, attend progress meetings.
• Ensure trainees and apprentices gain appropriate experience and training.
• Manage and coordinate sub-contractors.
