Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is recruiting for a pipefitting role within the HPC Jobs Service, offering long-term career opportunities across our Project.

You will cut, thread, and assemble pipework, ensure safety, and support Welding & PWHT activities as needed, with a strong emphasis on zero-harm.

With over 60 years in the UK, EDF is building new nuclear sites and offering training and progression across a range of skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Diploma or ECITB qualification in pipefitting.
• Evidence of English level (CEFR) B1.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (BPSS).
• CCNSG Safety Passport held or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using pipefitting tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, valves and equipment per isometrics.
• Attach pipes to structures using brackets, clamps or welding gear.
• Inspect and test piping systems with gauges and hydrostatic testing.
• Lay out drawings of pipe systems and supports from blueprints.
• Install pipe supports and roll pipelines onto tracks.
• Repair or replace worn pipe lines as required.
• Assist with Welding and PWHT activities when needed.
• Maintain zero-harm safety and comply with nuclear site rules.
• Housekeep work areas and dispose of waste.

ECITB Skills Test Alternative / Skills Test Number: TMF05 or ACE Card
