Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of the Babcock International Group, invites an experienced Pipefitting Superintendent to join the Hinkley Point C project. You will lead safety and production, oversee delivery of work scopes, and coordinate sub-contractors, while ensuring compliance with nuclear safety and project procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Superintendent in an engineering project.
• Nuclear power experience preferred.
• Experience on major construction projects.
• CCNSG Safety Passport and safety qualifications (SMSTS/IOSH) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on safety and production, champion nuclear safety culture and maximise team productivity.
• Oversee efficient delivery of work scopes; plan, schedule and coordinate progress.
• Maintain adherence to regulations, agreements and procedures.
• Manage project progress: schedule, track progress and issue daily reports to stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external parties (HPC reps, Client); attend progress meetings.
• Ensure trainees and apprentices receive appropriate experience and training within allocated work.
• Co-coordinate sub-contractors to ensure seamless delivery.
