Job summary

EDF Energy Limited, at Hinkley Point C, seeks an experienced Pipefitter Supervisor to lead teams delivering complex piping and cabling systems on a major UK nuclear project.

You will work within the MEH Alliance to uphold safety culture, drive productivity, and ensure work is completed to schedule while complying with statutory and client requirements. A strong track record in nuclear construction and relevant accreditations are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Professional Accreditation (NVQ or Diploma Level 3 Relevant Discipline).
• CCNSG Safety Passport required.
• LATS, SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely.
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Supervisor within an engineering project.
• Nuclear power experience preferred.
• Experience on major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE frontline leadership role to support a Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Guide the team to achieve high productivity while prioritising safety.
• Ensure efficient project completion, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback.
• Transmit instructions, specifications, and regulations to support team performance.
• Adhere to all statutory, company, industry, and client requirements and deliver the agreed work scope on time.

• Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
• Provide & demonstrate a positive HSE front line leadership role, supporting & encouraging a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
• Effectively guide the team to achieve high productivity while prioritising safety.
• Ensure efficient project completion, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback.
• Effectively transmit instructions, specifications, and regulations to support optimal team performance.
• Guarantee adherence to all statutory, company, industry, and client requirements.
• Deliver the agreed work scope within the established timeframe.

Requirements:

• Relevant Professional Accreditation (NVQ or Diploma Level 3 Relevant Discipline)
• Must have a CCNSG Safety Passport
• LATS, SSSTS, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Supervisor within an engineering project.
• Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
• Experience working on major construction projects.
