Job summary

Mace is recruiting for an NNB Surveillance Field Engineer to oversee construction activities at the Hinkley Point C site. You will verify installation work aligns with contractor information, escalate non-conformances, and report surveillance outcomes to the project team.

Role requires mechanical engineering basics, QA discipline, and excellent English communication. French knowledge is a plus; onsite work at HPC with a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent with vocational training.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English; French knowledge an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check works against Contractor's information and flag deviations.
• Submit details for non-conformance reports to support QA.
• Communicate with stakeholders and keep surveillance records current.
• Contribute surveillance data to KPI tracking and quality analyses.
• Identify potential quality issues early and recommend mitigations.
• Support team actions to keep works safe and compliant with quality standards.
