AWE is offering a Nuclear Materials Management Year in Industry Programme for 2027 at Aldermaston. The one-year placement starts 2 August 2027 with a salary of £24,500 and onsite work.

You will work within Nuclear Material Operations and gain exposure to regulatory frameworks and material accounting. The programme is designed for engineering and science graduates, requiring a minimum 2:2 and the ability to obtain DV clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 degree by August 2027
• Site based placement
• UK nationals only for security clearance will apply

Responsibilities

• Learn nuclear materials management and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with accountancy and control of Strategic Materials.
• Participate in audits and verification of Nuclear Materials.
