Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company, at the Springfields site near Preston, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support growth through technical bid development, process improvement, and project delivery in a highly regulated nuclear environment.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team to optimise processes, develop manufacturing capabilities, and deliver growth initiatives while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting process, production, manufacturing, or project engineering activities within a regulated industry.
• Ability to develop and maintain process maps, flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support process optimisation and manufacturing capability development.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, concept evaluations, and optioneering.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, safety, and project stakeholders.
