Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is recruiting a Project Engineer to support a major UK nuclear infrastructure programme. You will drive delivery across lifecycle phases, ensuring safety, quality, time and cost objectives while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes planning, reporting and performance management, with opportunities to lead procurement, construction and commissioning activities and build stakeholder relationships within a high-regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Working level SME in a relevant engineering discipline (MEICA preferred).
• Experience managing discipline-specific scope on multidisciplinary construction projects.
• Experience in design, planning and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Involvement in procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Experience in project planning, reporting and performance management.
• Ideally experience in regulated environments such as nuclear, energy, water, rail or defence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project scope through all lifecycle phases, meeting quality, safety, time and cost goals.
• Support planning, coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, regulations and legislative requirements.
• Contribute to project planning, reporting and performance monitoring.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Analyse technical and project information to identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate resources for efficient delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement and collaborative working practices.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability, supporting colleagues.
• Support achievement of customer satisfaction and business targets.
