Job summary

Westlakes Recruit is supporting a leading UK Tier 1 engineering and construction organisation to appoint a Project Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery across major nuclear infrastructure projects at Sellafield.

This strategic role reports to the Head of Projects and focuses on technical excellence, governance and safe, on‑programme delivery, working with clients, design teams and supply chains to meet budget, schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• IEng or Chartered status or progressing toward it.
• Experience leading engineering delivery on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM and contract governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across major nuclear infrastructure projects.
• Provide engineering assurance through design, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure compliance with client procedures, statutory requirements and industry standards.
