Job summary

Southern Scientific Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to cover the Nuclear and Industrial sectors, offering solutions for a wide instrument portfolio from health physics to environmental monitoring.

The role involves visiting universities, industry and nuclear sites, with some foreign travel. You will work with product manufacturers and internal teams to grow the customer base and provide an excellent customer experience from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Scientific/technical background required.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including time away from home.
• Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Visit universities, industrial and nuclear sites to provide solutions to client applications.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships through site visits and exhibitions.
• Identify and contact prospective customers via telephone, email and events.
• Keep CRM records up to date with visit reports and opportunities.
• Collaborate with product manufacturers and internal teams to grow the customer base.
