Job summary

Assystem seeks an experienced Industrial Architect to lead architectural design for nuclear infrastructure projects across the UK, including SMR, AMR and Fusion initiatives. Based in Derby/London/Bolton/Derby, the role requires collaboration across disciplines and strict compliance with nuclear regulations.

You will drive site masterplanning, oversee spatial design, resolve conflicts, and advance BIM and digital twin capabilities to create safe, efficient layouts for future facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or Industrial Architecture is required.
• ARB registration is required or strongly preferred.
• Chartered status with RIBA is desirable for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership from concept through construction for nuclear facilities.
• Develop nuclear site masterplans and coordinate with engineering and environmental teams.
• Advance BIM and digital twin capabilities to improve design delivery and integration.
