Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in the UK seeks a Field Service Technician to provide on-site services at nuclear power plant sites, including operating or under construction facilities, and service center operations, with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will report to the Product Manager and be based at Springfields; responsibilities include outages, refurbishment, upgrades, leadership of crews, and becoming a subject matter expert in I&C and fuel handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nuclear experience preferred.
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant operations and outages.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic or mechanical systems; relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform outage and outage-related activities including training, preparation, execution, and closeout.
• Lead crews before, during, and after outage and project work.
• Become subject matter expert in I&C and fuel handling equipment.
• Maintain high attention to detail and document quality issues.
• Travel to power plants and interact with customers autonomously.
