Job summary

The People Pod in Bolton is growing its Engineering recruitment team, focusing on Nuclear, Defence and Energy Transition sectors. You will own your market from day one, develop clients, and place exceptional engineering talent across challenging programmes.

From day one you'll be building a network, winning new business, and managing the full lifecycle from initial conversations to offers. The role offers a competitive salary, strong commissions, and fast-track progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant or Senior Consultant.
• Experience recruiting within Engineering, Nuclear, Defence or related technical markets.
• Proven track record of winning new business and developing client relationships.
• Strong candidate network and talent engagement.
• Ability to manage full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement.
• Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Resilience, energy and ambition to build a specialist market.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow your own client portfolio across Engineering and the wider Energy, Nuclear and Defence sectors.
• Win new business through targeted development and outreach.
• Build a high-calibre technical candidate network.
• Manage the full recruitment process from initial conversation to placement.
• Develop relationships with senior engineering and hiring stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence and talent insights as a trusted partner.
• Develop understanding of technical disciplines and projects in your market.
• Build personal brand within Engineering through LinkedIn and industry engagement.
• Collaborate with the wider People Pod team.
