Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an electrical engineer to deliver complex, high-impact projects in the nuclear and power sector. You will develop requirements, specifications and design deliverables across feasibility, concept, FEED and detailed design, including calculations and drawings.

Design MV/LV power networks, specify electrical plant to meet process objectives, and support safety reviews and design assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronical and Electronic Engineering with progress toward professional registration.
• Ability to deliver electrical design in regulated or complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements, specifications and design deliverables from feasibility to detailed design.
• Design MV/LV power distribution networks and specify electrical plant and equipment.
• Provide electrical engineering input across system studies, design assurance and safety decisions.
• Support construction, installation, commissioning and operations, including condition monitoring.
• Contribute to safety activities (HAZOP/HAZAN/FMEA) and design reviews.
• Some travel to client sites and secure facilities may be required.
