Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Derby office, delivering a range of complex projects for clients in a collaborative, flexible environment. You will contribute to both design and substantiation work across the project lifecycle and support bids, budgets and schedules.

You will lead design activities, manage timescales, and guide junior engineers while liaising with stakeholders at all levels to ensure right-first-time solutions for UK nuclear defence

Qualifications

• Calm approach to complexity and strong collaboration are essential.
• Experience delivering design and substantiation projects across lifecycle stages.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and manage priorities.
• Proven experience in the UK nuclear defence sector and related programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of mechanical engineering and multidisciplinary projects.
• Manage timescales, solve problems and guide junior engineers.
