Job summary

Vulcain Engineering UK seeks a Systems & Data Analyst to join the Quality function, delivering independent insight into programme performance across the Hinkley Point C project. You will transform complex data into meaningful intelligence to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

You will develop advanced Power BI dashboards, improve data quality and deliver performance insights to support programme objectives within a highly regulated, large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate discipline such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and BI solutions.
• Experience with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling and reporting architecture.
• Experience in infrastructure/major projects or nuclear sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support performance management.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, performance issues, risks and opportunities.
• Produce accurate management information to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data models, reporting structures and visualisations for programme performance.
• Support ETL of data from multiple sources to ensure reliable reporting outputs.
• Investigate performance trends and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate into analytical solutions.
• Promote data quality, reporting standards and governance practices.
