Job summary

Amey is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction and engineering projects within Nuclear Restoration Services in the UK. You will drive front-end pre-construction activities, engage clients, plan programmes and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver safely and commercially.

You will oversee multiple projects from mobilisation through delivery, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and CDM regulations while building strong client and supply-chain relationships.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness including budget, forecast and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple concurrent construction and engineering projects across Nuclear Restoration Services sites, focusing on safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements, develop project briefs and support early-stage project definition.
• Visit sites to scope works, identify risks and constraints, and support effective mobilisation.
• Prepare cost estimates and support project planning through the pre-construction lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, delivery strategies and documentation.
