Job summary

S&B Utilities is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the safe and compliant delivery of all construction activities for the Sizewell C project, including Foul Treatment Plant and Potable Water Plant. You will lead multidisciplinary contractor teams, coordinate interfaces with engineering and commissioning, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

10+ years experience managing large-scale construction projects.
HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management or related field.
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines.
Manage contractors, subcontractors and site teams for safe, efficient delivery.
Drive health, safety and environmental culture across all work activities.
Coordinate construction sequencing, logistics and multiple work fronts.
Monitor programme performance and milestones.
Oversee quality inspections, testing and defect resolution.
Manage interfaces between construction, engineering and commissioning teams.
Support testing, commissioning and handover to operations.
