Job summary

S&B Utilities is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee safe, efficient and compliant delivery of all construction activities for the Foul Treatment Plant and Potable Water Plant at Sizewell C. The role operates in a highly regulated nuclear environment, leading multidisciplinary contractor teams and coordinating with engineering, commissioning and operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years' experience managing large-scale construction projects.
Experience in regulated environments (nuclear/water/industrial).
Health and safety qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Lead onsite construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines.
Manage contractors, subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Drive a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all work activities.
Coordinate construction sequencing, logistics and multiple work fronts.
Monitor programme performance and ensure key milestones are achieved.
Oversee quality inspections, testing requirements and defect resolution.
Manage interfaces between construction, engineering and commissioning teams.
Support testing, commissioning and handover to operations teams.
