First Recruitment Group is seeking Civil or Structural Engineers for contract roles across the UK nuclear sector. You will work on complex programmes, supporting design, assessment and delivery of nuclear infrastructure from new-builds to decommissioning.

Roles require experience in highly regulated environments, strong knowledge of structural analysis and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on nationally significant projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Civil or Structural Engineer.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, defence, energy).
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, foundations and structural analysis.

Responsabilités

• Civil and structural design of nuclear facilities and associated infrastructure.
• Development of engineering calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Structural assessments and modification designs.
• Site surveys, inspections and condition assessments.
• Supporting safety cases and engineering substantiation activities.
• Production and review of technical documentation.
• Design risk assessments and CDM compliance.
