Job summary

Babcock is offering a Chemical and Process Engineering Undergraduate Placement Year in Warrington or Bristol. You’ll join the Cavendish Nuclear business and contribute to safe, secure, and sustainable nuclear solutions while preparing for professional registrations.

You’ll gain hands-on experience on live projects, work in multidisciplinary teams, and develop through a mentor-led program with a development plan aligned to CEng requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearances may be required per GOV.UK guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist on live engineering projects, applying university knowledge to real-world challenges.
• Carry out technical assessments, data analysis and present findings to colleagues.
• Contribute to mass and heat balances, process models and 3D plant layouts using specialist software.
