Job summary

AWE PLC invites applications for a Building Services Asset Apprentice. You will learn how critical building systems are maintained, improved and kept safe in a licensed nuclear environment, working with experienced engineers.

This 6-year apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with college study, leading to a Building Services Engineer Level 6 qualification. You will gain hands-on experience across HVAC, energy performance, commissioning and regulatory compliance, while developing SQEP and

Qualifications

• A Levels: Chemistry or Physics and maths and English (Merit or above)
• T Level: Merit or above in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning (UCAS equivalent)
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DDM in Engineering with Merit in Maths & Further Maths
• BTEC Level 3 National Diploma: DD in Engineering with Merit in Maths & Further Maths

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to ensure plant and infrastructure are safe, reliable and available.
• Support lifecycle renewal and asset information for complex building services.
