Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural/architectural/mechanical engineering is required.
• Knowledge of UK Nuclear Regulations and legislation is essential.
• National Security Vetting (NSV CTC) is required.
• Chartership is desirable for progression.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage design delivery for SZC2203/2205 contract buildings to time, quality and safety.
• Lead the design from basic to detailed design with external designer support and project team.
• Coordinate multi-discipline activities and propose risk mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety and security requirements throughout the design process.
