Job summary

NHS Grampian in Aberdeen is inviting applications for a Band 5 Staff Nurse in Ward 111, Infection Unit within the Emergency Care Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This full-time post offers a 36-hour week with a 12-hour shift pattern including day/night rotation and weekend/public holiday coverage.

You should be NMC registered in the UK, with post-registration Band 5 experience preferred, and a genuine interest in developing your nursing career within infection control and acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC (UK) and current registration status.
• Experience at Band 5 or equivalent post-registration experience preferred.
• Interest in developing nursing career within Infection Unit and Emergency Care Centre.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of nursing care to patients in Ward 111 Infection Unit.
• Contribute to compassionate, patient-centred care during day/night shifts.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting.

Staff Nurse - Band 5

Hours – 36 hours full time post available, working a 12 hour shift pattern which includes day/night rotation including weekend and public holiday cover.

Location – ward 111 within the emergency care centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

We are looking for a caring, hardworking individual to join our team and provide a high standard of care to patients within the unit.

Applicants should preferably have post registration experience at band 5 or equivalent, be currently NMC UK registered and have a genuine interest in developing their nursing career within the Infection Unit and Emergency Care Centre.
