Job summary

Keoghs LLP is seeking a qualified solicitor to join our Complex Injury Claims Team in Newcastle. The role focuses on high-value multi-track and catastrophic injury claims, with emphasis on head, spinal, and amputation injuries. Flexible/part-time arrangements may be discussed at application.

You will work with senior lawyers and insurers to progress complex cases from receipt to resolution. The ideal candidate has solid personal injury experience, NQ+ status, and an appetite to specialise in

Qualifications

• NQ+ solicitor or legal executive
• Experience in Personal Injury with multitrack work
• Experience in indemnity, liability and complex medical issues preferred

Responsibilities

• Progress files from receipt to resolution, handling liability and quantum.
• Communicate with insurer clients and update on progress.
• Instruct medical experts and draw key issues to their attention.
• Draft concise technical advice on indemnity, liability, quantum and causation.
• Interview witnesses and draft statements.
• Liaise with insured, insurer and witnesses.
• Instruct counsel and attend conferences, JSMs, mediations.
• Attend court remotely or in person as required.
• Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations
