Job summary

Keoghs is seeking a Catastrophic Injury Lawyer to join our market-leading Complex Injury Team in Newcastle, with hybrid working and consideration of other locations. You will handle high-value claims up to multi-million pounds, advising on liability and quantum while collaborating with leading lawyers and insurer clients.

The role offers an opportunity to mentor juniors, work on cutting-edge legal issues, and contribute to Keoghs’ market profile in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with 4-8 years PQE.
• Experience in catastrophic or large loss injury claims.
• Strong understanding of litigation, case law, and court procedures.
• Defendant experience is ideal, but claimant backgrounds may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage or support high-value catastrophic injury claims from instruction to resolution.
• Advise on liability, quantum, and indemnity issues.
• Work with Lead Lawyer on multi-million-pound cases.
• Build relationships with insurer clients.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance Keoghs’ market profile.
