You’ll join a busy property team, manage your own caseload with supervision, and develop your technical skills quickly in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified Solicitor with a seat in Commercial Property / Real Estate.

Responsibilities

• Run your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Liaise with supervisors to manage workload and priorities.
• Draft and negotiate transactional documentation.
• Provide clear, practical advice and regular updates to clients and agents.
• Use a case management system and maintain accurate file records.
• Build relationships with clients and contacts, and contribute to business development.
• Work with colleagues across service lines to deliver joined-up client service.

Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ)

Location: Kendal

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits

This is a newly qualified position within a busy Commercial Property team based in Kendal. You’ll work on a broad mix of matters, with regular client and agent contact, and the chance to build your technical skills quickly while developing your own style as a trusted adviser.

The team advises investors, lenders, developers and entrepreneurs across a range of sectors. The work is varied and often transactional, so it suits someone who enjoys pace, detail, and building relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running your own caseload with appropriate supervision

What We’re Looking For

• Newly qualified Solicitor, ideally with a seat in Commercial Property / Real Estate
• Confidence managing your own caseload with some supervision
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
• Good IT skills and comfort working with case management systems
• self-motivated, collaborative approach
• Interest in business development and building a network over time

Desirable

• Experience with SOS case management
