Job summary

Yorkshire Pie Company is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer in Sheffield to manage a full caseload from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.

The role involves handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and related matters, requiring excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• NQ–3 PQE or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.

Responsibilities

• Handle your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.

• Perform title checks, prepare documents, raise and respond to enquiries, and complete SDLT returns as required.

Conveyancer – Residential Conveyancing Sheffield | NQ–3 PQE

I’m working with an established and award-winning law firm in Sheffield that is looking to add an experienced Residential Conveyancer to its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident running their own caseload and wants to join a well-established, client-focused firm where quality of work and client care are genuinely important.

The role You’ll take responsibility for your own residential conveyancing caseload, managing matters from initial instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.

Your caseload will include a good variety of residential property work, including:

• Sales and purchases
• Re-mortgages
• Transfers of equity
• Assents
• Matrimonial sales
• Deceased estates
• First registrations and more complex titles

You’ll have plenty of direct client contact and will work closely with solicitors, estate agents, lenders, IFAs, landlords, management companies and other third parties to keep matters progressing.

The role will involve the full conveyancing process, including title checking, reporting to clients, raising and responding to enquiries, searches, SDLT returns, contracts, transfers and dealing with more complex title issues where required.

• Around NQ–3 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience
• Experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
