Job summary

ASC Connections is seeking a Quality Engineer to support new product introduction, project quality and resolution of internal, supplier and customer quality concerns within a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes APQP/PPAP activities, IATF16949-aligned processes, and close collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure robust quality from design through production. Flexible hours and a generous pension are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with quality engineering exposure.
• Strong understanding of core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Support new product introduction and existing projects through APQP and PPAP activities.
• Provide quality engineering input during project meetings, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Manage customer quality concerns, warranty claims, concessions and product returns through to resolution.
• Lead structured 8D investigations, including root cause analysis, containment and corrective actions.
• Complete internal system, process and product audits, maintaining supporting documentation and closing associated actions.
• Maintain Control Plans, ISIRs, quality KPIs and IMDS submissions in line with customer requirements.
