Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions are seeking an NPI Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality department in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role focuses on leading from RFQ and design through to handover and stable production, with accountability for PPAP readiness, and robust process and tooling design to meet customer requirements.

You will work closely with the design and production teams to drive error-proofing, design-for-manufacture, and the APQP lifecycle, including FMEA and

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Apprenticeship or HNC/HND and proven experience in a Manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing: support from RFQ through handover and stable production.
• Support PSW activities towards on-time PPAP completion.
• Ensure the product design is fit for manufacture.
• Guide the design team to produce production-ready processes and tooling with error-proofing.
• Lead APQP steps and drive FMEA with strong linkage to the Control Plan.
• Own Lessons Learned to improve future quality and design performance.
