Job summary

PE Global is recruiting for an NPI Programme Manager based in Stafford to lead high-level management of multiple new product introductions. This 12-month contract role sits at the heart of the engineering/manufacturing function, ensuring projects align with strategy, schedule governance and cost targets.

You will drive cross-functional teams, communicate updates to leadership, and organise governance meetings to resolve issues and maintain momentum throughout gateway reviews.

Qualifications

• University degree or 10 years project management experience.
• Hands-on design/development experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• 5 years leading high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Experience in automotive engine manufacturing, aerospace or general mechanical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level program management of multiple large NPI programs to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Present weekly/monthly progress updates to management on NPI program progress, risks and concerns.
• Lead team meetings to govern NPI programs, typically weekly.
• Oversee creation of Program Project Plans and maintain the schedule in support of Gateway Schedules.
• Ensure functional requirements align with product strategy, program financials and gateway milestones.
• Organise and facilitate key presentations including Stakeholder Updates and NPI gateway reviews.
